Gobi Gear Getter
Game DesignerCompany: TVO mPower
Target Audience: Grade 2
On Gobi Gear Getter, I was responsible for handling a post-launch update to adjust some of the educational components and potentially look at other aspects that could be given an extra bit of oomph. A lot of my day to day became taking feedback from educators and aligning them with stakeholder expectations on timelines and programmer efforts.
I had a lot of fun changing the final stage of the game. I made it a little more arcade-like in mechanics, while also making it more accessible via simplified controls for players without major motor skills.
